Having had almost 24 hours to reflect. I’d like to take this opportunity to clarify that my opinion hasn’t changed and Usyk did indeed beat fury and the absolute best outcome fury could have got would have been a draw…. Wallop.

Wow. Superb fight. Scorecards from the judges slightly wide at 116-112 but I had Usyk up by 2 rounds. Right man won in my opinion! Fury brilliant but just not consistent enough throughout the fight. Better on the front foot!

Itauma v Fabio wardley would be a fantastic fight.
Itauma is rapidly working his way through the division and Wardley is a top 10 fighter knocking on the door of a world title. Both can box and hold massive power.
Get them both in a stadium fight here in the UK and watch the fireworks!

I’m a big Johnny Fisher fan. He handles himself like a true gent and will go places. But that decision is a joke and will do nothing for the reputation of boxing

Very impressive debut from Abdullah Darkanzanly. Heavy handed, landing great body shots throughout the 4 rounds. Really enjoying watching him.

First fight of the night on the matchroom card in Monte Carlo sees Teromoana Teromoana ( yes he has the same name twice ) dispatch his opponent inside 1 round… easy nights work!

Another good move from Turki Alalshikh announcing the WBC Grand Prix of boxing. Looks like the tournament is geared up for prospects. Entrants must have had no more than 10 fights with an age limit of 26. Will be great to see different fighters earlier in their careers getting opportunities!
