Our Test team haven’t been known for having many all round good blokes that are universally admired. Uzzie is one that fits that category along with Cummins, Hussey and Gilchrist.

The fact that the Libs have opted to go with the politics approach post Bondi instead of the unity approach (as done by Shorten & Abbott post Lindt Cafe) shows why they’ll be in opposition for many more years to come (regardless of your thoughts on the current government).

Cummins is a bigger loss to our batting than he is to our bowling (as crazy as that sounds) in my book. We at least have Boland to come straight into our bowling lineup. But how often has Pat bailed us out with the bat when our top order have failed?
