An update on my jewel orchid 🌿
A month ago it suddenly stalled, with droopy leaves and no new growth. Turns out the stem had gone soft and wrinkly. I cut off the healthiest part I could and moved it straight to water.
Really hoping it pulls through 🤞🏻

An update on my jewel orchid 🌿
A month ago it suddenly stalled, with droopy leaves and no new growth. Turns out the stem had gone soft and wrinkly. I cut off the healthiest part I could and moved it straight to water.
Really hoping it pulls through 🤞🏻

Look who's blooming again! 🌸
The last spike produced 3 more flowers (9 in total) and is starting another one without a break. Such a reliable bloomer 😌
The roots are overcrowded and need a bigger pot. Once these blooms fall, it'll be time to repot.

Here's my monstera's newest unfurled leaf 💚
The only difference between the new and former leaf is one less inner fenestration but I'm not worried, given that we're in the middle of winter.

Yeah I get it. My birkin's supported, but the new leaves aren't as big as the old ones and it doesn't look that great. I'm tempted to just chop the top and try again 😮💨

Philodendron lemon lime has grown beautifully in 3 months under my care and I've decided to let it trail down. The color contrast never disappoints and I'm still mesmerized by it 💛

This sentimental plant has been with me for 10+ years, surviving neglect, underwatering, dark corners and pests like mealybugs and spider mites. Despite the struggles and less vibrant leaves, it’s still thriving and I love it for its resilience 🧡

October is my birthday month and I received this miniature orchid from my grandma instead of flowers 💛

I was surprised to find out that this orchid was the culprit of my allergic reaction. The blooms smell like sweet honey and so addicting that I have to constantly remind myself not to smell them whenever I water the orchid 😅
