Ship of fools … Sail away from me
Somewhat removed but love his cover of “A Pirate Looks At Forty” along with Dave Matthews, & Tim Reynolds

There was a time she flirted with journalistic talent - then any doubt was eliminated with an “overdose of stupidity” and cannabis chocolate. The morning after should have been a reckoning for us - the shroud was gone.

Best of luck - I will continue to read you wherever you publish … You’re a class act with an important perspective. Stay in ”it”

So glad it worked out - I was getting a little worried. There’s often a suitable path though if you look at it right 🤩

Got to see this live at the Savoy Theater in NYC - November ‘81

Want to say Adrian stole the show, but of course they all did !

Exhilarating & exhausting simultaneously- Great experience

Focus on the food - Good start. Pass on the dogma.

Favorite PG solo - The composition and lyrics (production) are stellar … Love San Jacinto. Energy of Kiss of Life is fantastic. The evolution reminds me of where the Heads were with Remain in Light.

Got to see a couple of shows on this tour including up real close at the Palladium NYC

So obviously an 80’s show - although early. I love how you can pick sample shows through the years and so clearly hear the Bands distinct evolution

This is a great example of an ‘album’ that essentially became a greatest hits collection by virtue of the singles - Steely Dan’s Aja is another

History has given us all plenty of “what if’s “ Jimi’s potential path and sounds is definitely a well worn one

I saw Genesis many times from 1978 - 2007 across their different phases and personnel. In large venues and small. Always a great show but they became far more pop than prog. (Totally different story w/Gabriel’s trajectory ‘nother time.)

So many great performances in this collection- Fantastic work by Scarlet Rivera esp Hurricane. Can’t overlook Scorsese’s capture either - even some passing scenes in the Berkshires

The incredible talent on this album is so notable when you consider the amazing careers so many of these musicians continued to have afterwards

It’s reported Eno liked Afrodisiac and introduced David Burn to it

Sometimes the influence on Remain In Light really comes out

Saw him at Tanglewood a couple years back - Enjoyable. Maybe the venue- maybe different expectation whatever- decent show.

Hard to overstate this album- The Band really transforms the music without losing any spirit- Phil really seizes Supper’s Ready. Played this album to the nub - what a time

Great photo - I have seen so many variations of R Fripp over the years including Gabriel, KC Discipline live in NYC Savoy ‘81 etc
