Climate change is real, the earth is not flat and birds are definitely not government drones yet. I am a concerned American man hoping we can engage in discourse and appreciate the opinions of others.
Can we start a boycott of all companies advertising on social media? When you are scrolling through your feed and every other post is an ad, it is ridiculous. Maybe we hurt the companies and the social media companies that are crowding our feeds with ads.

It is funny to see people who post MAGA and Republican garbage start complaining about the government shutdown. They need to just shut up and deal with what they voted for. “Oh the 535 members of congress shouldn’t be paid until they resolve this….” Hey numb nuts, this what you voted for.

How about congress proposes a 1950s - 60s era tax rate on the wealthy? They could call it the “Billionaires Protection Tax”. It might help them avoid things like trips to Epstein Island.

It disgusts me that so many immigrants have been disappeared in the US. We need to demand a list of all detainees, their condition and their location. Without that, ICE and DHS are no better than hostage taking terrorists.

Considering the ICE debacle in Georgia, I don’t see any way @fifaclubworldcup.bsky.social can have confidence that players and fans from other countries would be safe visiting the United States. For the good of the game, they should move all matches from the US to Canada and Mexico.

Hey CEOs! I know you are supposed to be fantastic leaders, but why is it so difficult for you to invite financial advisors to your businesses to educate your employees about finance??!!! Empowering employees to learn about finance couldn’t hurt and might do more to help them thrive.

Is anyone else feeling the urge to read A Tale of Two Cities again, but with a comparative eye to today’s American politics? It feels like classical literature is applicable to multiple eras due to the cyclical nature of history.

With everything going on, it almost seems like a wise political move for liberals would be to join the NRA and turn it blue. We could achieve supreme levels of irony if one day, the NRA backed a law intended to minimize unnecessary deaths.

The attack on the Hispanic community is atrocious. The DREAMers are an integral part of the future of the United States. They work hard for academic achievement and are exactly the type of people we should readily fast track to citizenship. They can help America keep advancing and growing.

The GOP, the supposed “law and order” party is the one running roughshod over the Bill of Rights. Their actions make the second amendment more and more critical to the survival of America.

The saddest statement I have heard with regard to what is going on in America is, “El pais de la esperanza se cambió al pais de la tristeza.” Our nation is becoming the home of one of the most inhumane regimes on the planet.

The American people need to start recall proceedings in every district where representatives and senators are failing to represent the interests of their constituency. They are supposed to represent the people not their own interests or actions meant to garner more political influence.

Why is it so hard for people to understand that only First Nation members should be complaining about illegal immigration? Everyone else is an immigrant, even the white supremacists and the MAGAts.

For a political party that complains about the pledge of allegiance being taken out of schools, why can you not remember the last line, “with liberty and justice for ALL!” If you are truly American and adhered to that pledge you would not support people ignoring the 5th amendment.
