Question for my MS followers:
On the recto of this folio is an elaborate coat of arms. Clearly some of the design is punched (you can see embossed dots), but what might cause the warping of the parchment?
1. liquid?
2. heat?
3. chemical reaction?
4. combination of ⬆️?
Any thoughts would be brilliant!
