I am astounded by the number of people out there (who vote, btw) who don’t realize that a government shutdown means more than just congress. The government includes ALL federal employees. And if they’re military, postal service, TSA, or any other essential worker, they’ll now be working without pay.

This is officially the earliest I have ever lost Whamageddon. I woke up just before 4 and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I scrolled TikTok for a few minutes. And promptly lost. At 4 am on the first day. I hadn’t even gotten out of bed. 😆
