Gay romance writer, flaming liberal, lover of science and education. Book 4 of my Leighton series out this spring, The Angel and the Hero.
Spotted a cybertruck in the library parking lot just now. Those two things seem completely incongruous.

The imposter syndrome is all too real.

I woke up and chose violence today. Curious to see what kinds of responses I’ll get to my comment.

I’ve decided pandas are the Merry and Pippin of the animal kingdom, and no, I will not be elaborating.

I just had someone speed up to block me when I put my blinker on to turn in front of her. I hope the next toilet she sits on is covered in urine.

Honest question- how are we balancing the need for protecting our mental health with the need to keep abreast of what’s going on in the country? Because I can’t stay blissfully ignorant like my conservative coworkers and pretend none of this is happening.

We long ago stopped having a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Now it is of the elite, by the elite, for the elite, and screw the people.

TFW you’re nearly done editing a book you’ve worked on for literal years, only to discover you screwed up the timeline of events at the end. 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s fixable, but damn, I thought I was almost done.

It’s been 37 years, and I still get teary-eyed when Baby does the lift at the end.

I am astounded by the number of people out there (who vote, btw) who don’t realize that a government shutdown means more than just congress. The government includes ALL federal employees. And if they’re military, postal service, TSA, or any other essential worker, they’ll now be working without pay.

The Venn diagram of people who are outraged over the reaction to Brian Thompson’s death (“but he was a father!”) and the people who said George Floyd deserved to die even though he was also a father is a circle.

This is officially the earliest I have ever lost Whamageddon. I woke up just before 4 and couldn’t get back to sleep, so I scrolled TikTok for a few minutes. And promptly lost. At 4 am on the first day. I hadn’t even gotten out of bed. 😆
