Yes, this!
This is the best article I’ve read about AI and the potential (or perhaps more accurately, likely) detrimental effects on engineers and some strategies on how to help manage it. It is *so* spot on.

The last month has been a non-stop (nights & weekends) wild ride of coding with agents and shipping. I've been genuinely excited and learned so much. Definitely am burned out, and glad for the long holiday weekend with fun things to do and no computer. So many ideas that will have to wait. 😂

So... this work got done in under an hour using this strategy w/Firebender and multiple parallel agents using Claude Opus 4.5. How long will it be before these estimates get updated to new agent development strategies in these models? 😱🤖

I'm at about 12 "You're absolutely right!" messages today from Claude. I guess I've still got a job for a little while.

I always thought it was CloudFare from hearing people mention it, but it's CloudFlare it seems. Just in case anyone else didn't realize that either... 🫣

@johnoreilly.dev You were mentioned as Firebender was trying to upgrade to the latest Compose Multiplatform and Navigation 3. 😲

It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

I just pulled in the Navigation 3 library for the first time in a KMP project. I can't tell you if it is any good since I didn't write the code myself... But it's working!
