I am a proud Māori rangatahi and the world needs to know what is happening in NZ. Thousands of people across the country have Hikoi and protested. To protect or cultural identity and our indigenous rights and our sovereignty. Which are 3 things the government is actively trying to get rid of.

Māori are indigenous to Aotearoa, racists people on X say we are not because we came here from elsewhere. They also claim we wiped out the indigenous who were here prior to us and say the Moriori are indigenous.

Here is a simplified version of what is happening in NZ.
Let’s say you are Māori and you have a daughter and she got married to a European man.
They make a vow to love and respect each other and each others cultures.
Since they’re just starting out they can’t afford a home.
