Some of the character names in the new Hoyoverse game certainly are something.
The character Cassio Rollex from the upcoming Hoyoverse game Honkai Nexus Anima. Cassio is a man with brown hair, dressed in an outfit reminiscent of the 19th century Old West of the United States. I remain of the opinion that the TV series was a missed opportunity. I would rather have seen something complementing the game rather than rehashing the prologue, like predecessor lore, Kal'tsit's journey or an original story like the comics. Yet I am still quite hyped for S3. youtu.be/hxZBu_x3Byk

Finally found some bookends I'm happy with! My old bent metal ones seemed designed to shred books. I've been looking for something that's essentially a cubic paperweight to use as a bookend for ages with no luck. The glass pebbles were on sale and I bought some craft storage boxes to put them in.

I've recently been picking up a few books that I missed out on when they released. The Japanese edition of volume 1 of Tamen de Gushi (a.k.a. Their Story / SQ / Begin W/Your Name) arrived this week. A second volume seems unlikely at this point...

Hypergryph (Arknights dev) held a recruitment drive at several US universities recently. Attendees were treated to a presentation on the development history of the game. I found this mind map they created to define the direction of the game amusing.

For years I've had a memory of a sci-fi film broadcast on TV in the late 80s or early 90s that I caught the last 10 minutes of, but I've never been able to identify it. During an episode of insomnia last night, I went through Wikipedia's list of 1980s US sci-fi films and finally tracked it down.
