As a Jew, I have a collective intergeneration understanding of the consequences of decent people looking away as the humanity of others were destroyed in Nazi Germany. With America on the cusp of a police state, we must actively choose to not repeat that same mistake now.

If there is a ceasefire between Iran and Israel after Iran’s largely symbolic bombing of a U.S. base in Qatar today, that is good for so many reasons. Besides the obvious global benefits of de-escalation, it also makes it harder for Trump to justify extreme actions domestically against us all here.
