As much as openai wants to build beneficial AGI, nerds are nerds. Slow down the development and they will get bored.

My parents are refugees. They appreciate and love the United States so much for giving us a life away from war.
But when they talk about their homeland, they reminisce about the land itself, the trees, the hills. They miss it tremendously. I shed a tear just hearing them remembering what was lost.
