Democrat representatives have, for quite a while now, been responding to the republicans in ways similar to abuse victims still living with their abuser respond to their abusers. For instance they didn’t censure mtg under Biden because they didn’t want to upset the republicans. Enabling the abusers

All the players were down to their last 4 or lower HP. I was expecting to have to rabbit hat and have them wake up in a medical tent after the local forces finish the fight. Had some great role playing and then the rolls just kept hitting.

Had a marathon D&D session yesterday, 11 hours half of which was me helping an older friend character build. Then I ran everyone through a goblin horde overrunning the hamlet. Which ended spectacularly with a jaw dropping 3 nat 20’s in a row by two of the players on the final goblin boss.

I feel this completely. I can’t even read the news anymore without feeling like I’m having a panic attack. Living in rural Texas is “behind the lines” so far that I don’t even no where I could go to run or how I’d get there. Feeling like I should try to sell my place and go hide anywhere but here.

Yes, there was a company in town that went into asset forfeiture to the courts to cover the fines against the parent company, one part of that companies business was selling coffee... and its all just sitting there in the shutdown warehouse

And its 3-5 years for fruit on average so start now and stockpile what you can get before then. If you’re really hard up for it I can point you to a court seized warehouse full of coffee thats sitting doing nothing.

Lemmy has a abcess on her neck and she’s been scratching it open and making it worse. Vet visit scheduled for later today, expecting she will be coned/socked and have antibiotics.

And they settled while juror selection was still going on, was some sort of civil trial, but they don’t need us so everyone gets to go home. Had kind of hoped to actually serve on a jury for once.

Missing my dad today, he would always put in an order of Lammes Candies “chocolate longhorn pralines” for delivery to us wherever we were for Valentine’s Day. So today, I sent them out to all my sibs since he can’t anymore.
