The best photo I could get tonight turned out to be a good one. A very small section of the sky.. yet so many stars. 90 minute exposure.

Took this picture in 2018 when I visited Austin for a few days... pretty sure the people of Texas don't want what's happening now. Warrants for the arrest of elected officials.. threatening to replace them. Doesn't sound like freedom to me. But they keep voting for clowns so maybe they do. 🤷♂️

Haven't had cable for oh 8 years.. but I do watch Colbert on youtube. Usually in the morning when my schedule allows. Been watching him since his comedy central days. Probably the death knell for CBS.. I bet the hate mail is rolling in about now. As it should. Just a dumb move.

Took a Sunday hike dahn Jonathan run falls trail in Ohiopyle state park. We've had a ton of rain here so she was raging. Had this spot to ourselves for quite a bit.

Cascata do Salto do Cabrito, on Sao Miguel island in the Azores, Portugal. A decent hike but well worth the result at the end.

This buck visited me on my front patio last spring. Made a hell of a racket dodging my furniture. I noticed he had a big chunk taken out of his hind quarters. He ran off up behind the barn and well that was the carcass smell last summer. Nature comes for us all. I'll display him on my barn.

Took a call from a woman last night, frantic because her husband was not home straight after work. Wanted to report him missing. So sent the PD. About 45 minutes later we found him trapped in his car 100 ft over a hillside. So don't tell me womens intuition isn't a thing.

Power has been out since 9pm last night. Been running the generator off and on all day to keep the fridge fridging. Looks like it won't be back on till tomorrow night. Could be worse 8 of my neighbors had trees come down on their houses.

Just finished season 3 of Wheel of Time. As a huge fan of the books, this was by far the best season. Be a shame if it wasn't renewed for season 4.

Today I learned.. the voices of the ambiguously gay duo were steven colbert and steve carrell.. how did I not know this? And it started on the dana carvey show.. which only lasted 7 episodes.

Just finished watching the first season of The Pitt.. and well if you wanted to see what I do its pretty damn close to shifts I've had if you swap out the docs and residents with 911 operators. I've dealt with pretty much all of that shit.. so whomever wrote that shit probably lived it.

Been a few years since I've watched monty python and the holy grail. Seen it probably 100 times.. still makes me laugh. Kids these days wouldn't know that In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings forty-three times every second, right?

Meet Anna our newest rescue from a local shelter, where she's been for 2 years. She had some type of infection and has no teeth. So only soft foods and treats. But she's the sweetest and that tongue is just so damn adorable.
