The government isn’t going to care about someone getting black lung when it’s putting green into a billionaire’s pocket.
Black lung is still destroying lives and families in Appalachia, and this “pro-coal” government doesn’t care.

We need to close all ICE facilities within the state and any state worker helping ICE to facilitate their Nazi behavior should be fired immediately and they should lose their pension

While I wait for the release of @flashes.blue I figured I’d try @pixelfed.ie but it misses the mark. It offers nsfw content which is great but finding said content is damn near impossible. They need to fix the search or stop censoring content.

I think this first 2.5 weeks has taught us that there is no "shadow government" there is no "deep state" that protects us behind the scenes. There are just a bunch of old shitty men that don't care about you.

Some extremely concerning things are going on with Reddit. A slew of subreddits were banned overnight, most nsfw subs. It looks like the bans have been reversed but this is a huge shot across the bow of free speech.

I wouldn't normally jump to placing blame when tragedy strikes but Trump did start firing people without care and Musk pushed out the head of the FAA. Those things are important and connected. In a normal world these decisions and results would jeopardize a presidency.

For the first time in 30 years, I was actually nervous going to Newark New Jersey today. I wasn’t worried about the violence. I was worried about ICE because the rumor is they are indiscriminately grabbing everyone. Based on previous interactions with them, I wouldn’t be surprised one bit.

I was surprised to see very little coverage of the last school shooting in Tennessee. Then I saw a report that the shooter was a radicalized conservative and it all made sense.
