Typer is *great*. Not just because it makes it easy to write command line apps but also because the Python functions can still be used from within Python!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to @marimo.io (cc @akshaykagrawal.bsky.social ). If u have been using Jupyter Notebooks, u should REALLY try Marimo. It is such an upgrade. We have been actively developing on it in the lab (integration with NLP LLMs) as well & are huge fans. Strongly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of leading a remote workshop with #UCSD Data Science students where we explored #NBA data through #exploratory #analysis (EDA). We dug into player statistics, team performance metrics, and uncovered some interesting patterns in the league data. (1/n)
