The institutional Democratic Party is guided by an almost pathological level of conflict avoidance in almost every direction. “What can we do to make the least number of people mad?” is just a bankrupt way to operate.

Starting this week, we’ll all pay more at the store because of the Trump tariffs, even while he’s finalizing a multi-trillion-dollar tax cut for the wealthy.

All the bluster is meant to get us talking about literally anything else.

Medicaid covers...

-40% of births nationwide
-50% of kids with special needs
-72 million people in total

Remember this as Republicans move to gut the program to finance tax cuts that will overwhelmingly go to the richest 1% of Americans.

The offers of an alleged deferred resignation were made across the board without consideration for mission needs or appropriate staffing levels and threaten the Federal government’s ability to provide necessary services to residents. They go so far as to threaten our security.

Extreme MAGA Republicans spent last year promising to lower costs.

And lying about their connection to Project 2025.

They have spent this year implementing the extreme Project 2025 agenda.

And haven’t done a damn thing to lower the high cost of living.
