I'm a sessional lecturer at UBC's School of Population & Public Health. I was recently informed that I would no longer be teaching in the school.

In April, I asked why the school would not sponsor & advertise an event related to Gaza w/ a speaker from the respected NGO Save the Children. 🧵

@haaretzcom.bsky.social was promoting a stupid soup made in (not) israel on X in the middle of the Gaza genocide.

I replied: 'drown in it'.

X permanently banned my 10+ year old account.

Testing now on bluesky...

Pre-Trial Chamber I of the International Criminal Court, unanimously issued two decisions rejecting challenges by the State of Israel brought under articles 18 and 19 of the Rome Statute. It also issued warrants of arrest for Mr Benjamin Netanyahu and Mr Yoav Gallant.
