On Monday, I spoke out at the Town of Matthews Board of Commissioners meeting about the three commissioners who had alternative ideas for how to make the budget balanced. Forward to 4:40:00. Yes, that’s a pain to do, but I respect the town’s right to the video.

Yes, the gerrymandering in North Carolina is horrible. Yes, many of the congressional districts are hard, if not almost impossible, to come close to winning. If there’s no real candidate to be a formidable opponent to the incumbent, of course they will lose.

What does the “big beautiful bill” mean for towns of the country? I’m sure no one knows, yet. We will wait and see once something passes the Senate.

Brian, what does this have to do with being a candidate? I will tell you #MentalHealthMatters and the 5K have everything to do with being a candidate. As someone who deals with mental health daily, I am passionate about bringing awareness to Mental Health.
