All I wanted to do was use SendBulkTemplatedEmail, #LocalStack. Now I'm cloning the repo to look at adding it myself...

I really like writing recommendations and bragging on the fantastic people I've worked with. The puzzle of trying to effectively communicate how an acquaintance is awesome is a pretty good challenge.

I had the pleasure today of introducing someone to the topic of scrip and the history of company script being used to devalue and control labor.

I was looking around for Tiltify fees and came across their LA wildfire relief case study, which ends with this wild call to action:

Like, this is questionable language for a CTA in any context, but feels pretty tone deaf at the […]

It's so satisfying to get that last click and immediate change in tension when #lockpicking. Been having a lot fun with the Red Team Tools learner's kit: https://www.redteamtools.com/learn-about-lockpicking-kit/

I wrote up the design and build process for my IKEA SMÅSNÖRE-inspired flexible LED strip lamp, which inspired me to create this ridiculous collage. Many words and even more pictures at https://thzinc.com/2025/11/21/ikea-smasnore-inspired-flexible-led-strip-lamp.html

Ooooh, my LED strip lamp is assembled and works great! It produces a nice diffuse arc of light around a work area, and is flexible and movable and dimmable 😁

By reducing overhead and supply expenses as much as possible on their factory floor, their entire line of products can be fabricated for less money and yield a higher rate of return.

Today was a good crafting day. I printed and assembled the base of an LED lamp I’ve been designing and I finally sewed a lining for a bag my wife knitted and for which she has been waiting patiently.

Ok, my social battery is just about drained. In the past week, I've done #supercon, a js.la lunch, and today the maker meetup at Laura Kampf's studio. All good stuff, but this introvert is done for a bit...

I'm back to doing some coding in #golang and remembering how lovely it is to do write tests with ultra fast test coverage feedback. Test writing becomes a practice of "figure out how to make the lines of code green."

There were a number of cool badge cases at Supercon this year. @thzinc kinda vaporwave case was really cool in person.

Also here's @geekmomprojects 's Souis Cuitton purse and ageppert's Speak&Spell

Fantastic #supercon this year. I didn’t hack on my badge much beyond putting it into an illuminated case, but I had a lot of really enjoyable talks with people.

I’m really looking forward to tinkering with this badge in the coming weeks…

Had a good time with Rust at @shawnhymel ’s Embedded Rust workshop at #supercon. Finally had some reason to do some semi-practical Rust development!

Also, many thanks to @adistuder for sharing his LEDomologist SAO with me. It’s delightful!
