So 2024 finishes with just over 4800 QSOs from 171 different DXCCs, 142 of which are now confirmed on LoTW. Hope all of you have a wonderful 2025 and a brilliant year for Ham Radio.

Did my first POTA Activation for a while yesterday. Did 10m for the first time from Park GB-1251. Great to work 40 transatlantic stations at a rate of more than one a minute, wish I’d had more time. Many thanks to all that called me yesterday, de GW5GDP #POTA #ParksOnTheAir #HamRadio #AmateurRadio

Managed to work seven new DXCCS in November taking me up to 171. Burkina Faso, Cocos-Keeling Island, Venezuela, Guatemala, Monaco, The Gambia and the Galapagos Islands. Not many QSLs received this month but the one from Iraq was quite nice.

My biggest fear is that when I die, my XYL will sell my radio gear for what I told her I paid for it!

Couple of hours at the Snack Shack car park in Caerphilly. Good to get the Greenland DX-Pedition and also the 3G7X DX-Pedition to Chiloe Island in Chile as well as a tasty quarter pounder with cheese and coffee.
