I've just finished watching the whole Naruto og with my daughter! (skipping all fillers)

Does Shippuden flows better? Og is really slow! Fun, but very slow!

Three of the top five British grid electricity records smashed in 2025!

This is a huge success story, despite what Russian bots and U.S fossil fuel shills scream on X.

Every unit of clean domestic energy we produce means a safer future for our children…🥳

My colleague Sanjay Ghemawat & I have done a fair bit of performance tuning of various pieces of code. We wrote an internal Performance Hints document ~2 years ago as a way of identifying some general principles & we've recently published a version of it externally.

I'm sharing this here, as I have on Facebook and Instagram, but there's no account on here to share from, and I just think this is wonderful.

A really good balance of design and implementation, and appears to achieve everything it set out to do, and it *SO* appeals to my inner 'work nerd'.

Welcome Gemini 3 flash! 🤩
We’ve pushed out the Pareto frontier of efficiency vs. intelligence again.

With Gemini 3 Flash ⚡️, we are seeing reasoning capabilities previously reserved for our largest models. This opens up entirely new categories of near real-time applications that require complex thought.

Are you a browser tab hoarder? 😅

My tab bar is a mix of docs to review, spreadsheets, presentations, and a long list of articles I swear I'll read eventually. Manually cleaning it all up is a drag.

Fun fact: I worked with her and her husband (mentioned in the link).

I was very surprised when they retired! It's good to see them having a nice life!
The secret to early retirement; dine out rarely, fly economy and be a Google employee making $390,000/year married to a fellow Google employee 17 years older than you who likely makes twice as much as you.
37-year-old quit her $390,000 Google job after saving up $1.5 million—see the 'no buy checklist' that helps her spend less
She left a $390,000-a-year job and now uses a simple set of rules to make her savings last in Switzerland.
