Just like how you should always praise nice people. One of my recent unlocks as a leader was taking ownership of "Chief Vibes Officer." I've focused on the hard skills as a leader - be present, listen, process fast, be decisive and communicate well. These are things that I am also naturally good at. So, in 2025, I wanted to put some reps into something that I wasn't good at.

I just let go of most of my camera gear I've acquired over the last 20 years - 3 camera bodies, 5 lenses and batteries, filters etc. I just cleaned them all for the final time, packed them carefully into backpacks for maximum protection and sent them all to MPB. A part of me is sad to have let go of some of my favorite instruments I've used and taken care of - well. I hope they bring as much joy to their next owners as I had with them.

We are spoilt children who rarely pay heed to the glories we are gifted. life is too awful to treat niceness with anything other than wholehearted reverence.

While I knew how LED bulbs function, I'd not caught up on the mass manufacturing of them. It's so fascinating to me what part of it is manual and what is automated... factory design and automation is a fascinating engineering problem that needs to balance human nature, current cost efficient line of automation and then depreciation + determine how the arc moves when it comes to manufacturing automation.

We are leaving the Terminal Era of AI. We are entering the GUI Era. The winners of the next cycle aren't building smarter brains; they are building better interfaces.

The alpha is no longer in the model. It’s in the flow. The revolution isn't over - it just finally looks like software.
The Trough of Disillusionment is a Product Launch
The AI revolution is plateauing. The gap between the frontier models has narrowed to a statistical tie. Every week, a new release claims a 2% improvement on a coding benchmark that 99% of the world accepts but never verifies. We are drowning in evals and parameters, yet user enthusiasm is flatlining. My hypothesis is that this inevitable hangover is the Large Language Model’s "Trough of Disillusionment."

One good question about self-esteem is this: can you love yourself even if people in your life think you are average in your achievements? High achievers defiantly say no. They need to prove something to other people every day. What they don’t realize is that proving themselves to others is just a cover story. The real work they are avoiding is to figure out why they can convince others of their worth but are never able to convince themselves.

You’ll fail in public where everyone can see it. That’s not a bug in the system, that’s the entire price of entry, and despite what you might think, it’s actually a feature.

Steal this top idea!

"Steal" signals utility. "My" signals authorship. "Top" signals curation. Deconstructing the words that fossilize our shift from learning to forking. In an era of infinite intelligence, who's the winner - the secret keeper or the loudest distributor?
Steal this top idea!
The phrase "Steal my top prompts" acts as a core sample of the current internet. It marks the web's final transition from a library of discovery to a factory of efficiency. The phrase is efficient and dense. "Steal" signals high utility. It tells the reader that the content is actionable immediately. It removes the friction of learning and replaces it with the speed of copy-pasting.

The desktop pc and laptop market is in turmoil. As a sign of the times, Microsoft is leveraging the AI moment to determine how it wants to play in the consumer space. However, their plan is currently being rejected by their ardent users. Let's take a step back. Microsoft's major AI play is Azure. A couple years ago, Microsoft was riding high. They invested early in OpenAI after seeing the potential. They leveraged their strengths to become the enterprise play for AI as a result of Azure and Office 365 and their major consumer play was - Bing.

This is what nano banana (pro) generated based on what it knew of gurupanguji.com. The distillation of information is so powerful. That image is dense with insights. If you squint at it a little, this is a path to much more powerful targeting. User profiles can now be far more dense and processed far more easily to distill new targeting options. Digital ad targeting is going to level up dramatically.
