I couldn’t be prouder of Liuyu (Elle) Peng from my lab who submitted her PhD thesis yesterday. Her research was a tour de force in developing a multi-omics workflow for global lipid-protein ‘interactome’ analysis to understand the role of aberrant lipid metabolism in multisystem Mitochondial disease

Back to New Zealand and visiting Christchurch for the first time, to give a keynote talk at the QMB2025 meeting. The opening plenary given by Prof Tak Mak (Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto) on cancer immunology was inspiring.

Not just Hunt lab members, but also everyone who visited UVA over many years (myself included, in 1991 I believe) to take his peptide sequencing course. I still have the binder full of spectra in my office. Don definitely inspired and supported my career in mass spec and proteomics.
