2026 New Year’s resolution is to complete a sewing project every month. Gotta get through my fabric stash!

In January I made “Reversible Hanging Basket Storage Pods” from a guide found here: www.instructables.com/Reversible-H...

I quilted my outer cotton to some batting. Easy project!

Successfully achieved my 2025 reading goal. Set a goal of 30 books for 2026. Hoping to prioritize my sewing hobby too!

Going to make more of an effort to clear out my fabric closet in 2026. For now I’ve made a couple of items for presents - 2 cotton canvas grocery totes and a hanging bag to hold clothespins!

My local Joann location is closing on April 27th, so I went in to see what was left. Made my last ever impulse buy. 2.5 yards of novelty cotton. No idea what I will do with it! (and that’s how I ended up with a closet full of fabric)
