It was a great workshop with very interesting talks!
A rare instance when a beautiful Econ graph (offer curves) comes to life. The US and China start at the free trade equilibrium A, then the US impose tariffs and improve their terms of trade at B, then China reciprocates at C, and so on, while the volume of trade converges to 0.
