Every single one of these heinous acts belongs to those who voted for Trump. The "I didnt vote for this" crowd need to be reminded that they did. It may not have been their intent but it sure as shit is the impact of their vote.

When we climb out of this current mess, we should make sure to never fall for the fantasy that Republicans are for small government and states' rights. They're only for those things when they're not in power.

The problem with out media ecosystem is that we cant tell which party is lying. No matter who is lying, they're not lying to each other. They're lying to us.

Democratic leaders have met political violence with the same response. They stress the need to stop the inflammatory rhetoric and address the issue. Republicans respond to political violence differently. They exploit it for more violence or dismiss it with conspiracies.

There isn't any reason to have US troops deployed in cities. We're seeing is an escalation by the administration to place troops into cities & states that are politically opposed to the president. The next step will be to declare martial law which you can expect to coincide with midterm elections.

There seems to be a fundamental misunderstanding among the MAGA element that if you do the right thing you need to receive gratitude and praise. You do the right thing because it is the right thing not because you want recognition.

1) If you want to cut funding, fine. Do it constitutionally through legislation, not by breaking the law.

They're getting rid of DEIA. They've frozen litigation at the Civil Rights Division. They've reversed a 1965 EO used to desegregate the government contractor process. They've fired inspector generals illegally. They're not creating a meritocracy. They're re-instituting segregation.

The most annoying thing about #ESPN and #NFLNetwork coverage is that every segment is what will we say if player X does or doesn't do Y. It's mostly prognostication about what other analysts might say.

This is awful and #Biden shouldn't have done it. Judge is on house arrest in Florida and could have finished his term, which only had a year and change left.
Michael Conahan was jailed in 2011 for detaining thousands of children in juvenile detention centers in exchange for kickbacks...

This is awful and #Biden shouldn't have done it. Judge is on house arrest in Florida and could have finished his term, which only had a year and change left.
@cnn.com still doing he-said-she-said coverage instead of in depth analysis of the cabinet nominees' qualifications. You can objectively say they're not qualified, if they don't have the requisite experience.

A continual issue with our political system is the failure of journalism to stay relevant. The idea that journalists need to be centered between two opposing views instead of tied to facts erodes any trust in the coverage.

I think the Gaetz report should be released because it is of public interest. I think journalists should be demanding it's release because of this instead of tepidly seeing what both sides think on the matter.
