To be frank the "safety nets" (like UBI) should be there for *anyone* that can't get a regular job *for many different reasons* (my last day job has terrible for my mental health and I was fired, as I'm almost 40 I'm not sure if anyone will hire me again, but at least I can help with the expenses)+

Many full time creatives have “invisible safety nets” like bread-winning partners, trust funds, external support, etc. No shame on anyone, but it creates a false vision of success. The cost of going to cons alone on top of hoping to eat as a freelancer are untenable, IMO.

The problem really is things are going well, but the world is so unstable that I long for some consistency and income that I don't have to pay quarterly taxes on

So if you want to see all of it go to Settings -> Languages and add "Portuguese" in "Content Languages"

Even better, mark none: you will help a LOT of artists out there around the world 💗
Bluesky Language settings. It shows the options for App Language, Primary Language, and Content Languages. If you don't select any language for third option, you will have contents from all around the world in your feeds.
