Omega is also some sort of reverse DS9

DS9 started dark, painful, and these are the main themes - but it offered also some of the most delightful Star Trek comedy episodes

Omega started as "slice of life with kaiju". And now it's showing pure existential crisis

So far, loving it! ♥️

I wouldn't say Omega is the DS9 of Ultraman in a broad sense, it is not. But if you think DS9 used an original, odd scenario (an space station) to get to the heart of Star Trek (dialogue and hope);+
