I'll have more to say about this book once I've fully compiled my thoughts for an upcoming book club, but it really is a great memoir. I love birds and Christian Cooper is so much more than the viral video that propelled him into the spotlight. He's been doing the work from the start!

I've somehow managed to make it halfway through my reading goal for 2026 already! I really hope I'm able to keep pace even when I've met it.

I've been thinking about Nujabes a lot lately, and I re-listened to Hexalogy tonight. The remixes also pay him due respect through their musicality, as Shing02 has made possible with the full release. I really recommend listening to this one at least once, especially if you enjoy hip-hop already.

I've been thinking about Nujabes a lot lately, and I re-listened to Hexalogy tonight. The remixes also pay him due respect through their musicality, as Shing02 has made possible with the full release. I really recommend listening to this one at least once, especially if you enjoy hip-hop already.
This is easily the most powerful song on the album, and the lyrics invoke the true DIVA in me. When I mirror the lyrics to my real life, I'm shown that most things just aren't that serious. It's funny that Kali Uchis embodies that in a brighter tone throughout the album.

This is easily the most powerful song on the album, and the lyrics invoke the true DIVA in me. When I mirror the lyrics to my real life, I'm shown that most things just aren't that serious. It's funny that Kali Uchis embodies that in a brighter tone throughout the album.

Rewatching ATLA and I'm reminded that Dante Basco's Zuko is an all-time great VA performance. I'm convinced that Steven Yeun will do a great job with the upcoming movie's Zuko given his performance as Avatar Wan. It's peak animation and peak TV and it's just so good!
