My felted greyhounds from the Evesham Greyhound and Lurcher Rescue @eglr1.bsky.social have arrived and are even better than I hoped. The one still in the bag will be a greyt Xmas present for my dear friend who led our adoption program!

Poppy (red muzzle) is smoking the competition during a greyhound outing back in the day. Lance, at right, also performed much as he had during his racing days. Having the lowest classification never harmed his self-esteem. 😆 #greyhounds

Lance, our first #greyhound, found a special hiding place when fireworks were exploding. 🎆 We called it his "cower corner." 🐓 When the booming was over, he'd come downstairs, strutting like he was king of the world, not abashed in the least.

Something I would not expect to see everyday, much less any day: a racing pig transport crossing the Mississippi River! The cargo escaped being turned into barbecue in Memphis. 😉
