the translator says that her name translates as demain. i'm not sure but whatever. she was born in a nomad family but stolen at a young age by the main state and raised as a disposable unit for dangerous expeditions. it's not like they want her to die but if she does no one will care

if one antenna is damaged he will be disoriented in space but over time he will most likely get used to it. if you uproot it he will get brain damage that's not particularly compatible with life (there is no advanced medicine in his world)
