I’m here to post a few pieces of pottery. I had a pitcher that exploded in the kiln 😳. I’m going to bring it home and see what I can do with it. The last pic is an experimental sculptural piece. I thought it looked like a sea anemone.

My friend and I went to a bread making “camp” yesterday. It was a lot of fun but I don’t think I can eat this much bread! Besides those pictured we also made bagels and received a sourdough starter which is named Scooby!

My cousin is a scientist who does medical research for a large university clinical research facility. She was informed last week that because of cuts to NIH funding she will be losing her job at the end of the month. I am so angry.
