Just read Jamelle Bouie’s Sunday article in the NYT. My husband and I have had this very conversation many times. Letting the powerful go without consequences for their crimes doesn’t solve the problem, yet we keep doing it over and over. I hope we push harder and in unity this time to change that.

My husband just paid $141 for a COVID shot. Supposed to be free for vets. VA didn’t have the shot or won’t reimburse pharmacies for it. I guess this is what supporting the troops looks like under this current administration when you live in Oregon.
