On this day in 2015, we held an 80th birthday party for him.

His loss in December 2015 is still as keenly felt as it was then, nearly 10 years ago.

Happy Birthday dad. Will raise a glass to you later.

Morning! Cold ‘un today. Cheeky wee 4 day London village break, so 4 1/2 hours on a #LNER train to enjoy - also known as 4 1/2 hours listening to banal announcements every 5 minutes while trying to sleep. See you later!
