Trump is in the Oval Office right now calling the Epstein coverup a hoax again and refusing to admit he’s all over the files. A reporter had to ask him multiple times if he would sign the discharge petition, and he basically dodged the question. He's panicked.

What if he's been ordered to pay the money back by then? 🤔

The debt is rising by $1tn every 5 months or so. Guess adding another $600bn (assuming $2,000 * 300m) can't hurt.

Instant pivot. Not like it's a co-equal branch, or something. Donald has spoken.

They wouldn't have this problem if they had some principles and just did the right thing to begin with 🤷‍♂️
So is Mike Johnson still going to oppose releasing the Epstein files after his lord and master just told Republicans to vote for it?

Let’s just be honest. Trump wouldn’t be acting this way - using all the power he has to suppress the Epstein files - if this wasn’t the biggest scandal in presidential history.

That's a no.

However I would have responded with: "Donald *is* a lame duck president. So no, it's not about that."

(I know, he's already got 2028 merch and he'll get the nomination etc. But it's still important not to normalise it)
Republican Sen. John Barrasso, the majority whip, doesn’t commit to holding a Senate vote on the bill to release the Epstein files if it passes the House. “We’ll have a discussion about it and make a decision from there.”

Pam Bondi has posted rants and videos saying that there’ll be no mercy for those who threaten federal agents.

But she and her boss just pardoned a woman who threatened to shoot federal agents.

Why did this Florida woman get a pass? She’s MAGA.

Trump doesn’t care about federal agents. Never did.

This is so so disturbing. Trump is now pardoning January 6th rioters for unrelated crimes, just to reward them for their violence to keep him in power.

The Republican Party is in the full time business of endorsing and incentivizing political violence. So scary.

New: A site licensing Trump's name is selling merch with the presidential seal — including a $20 beer-pong set with “Presidential themed balls.”

Federal law says you can’t manufacture or sell likenesses of the seal without authorization.
