📣 #Forschungsnews: So artenreich war #Messel: 1409 Taxa – also Lebewesen-Typen – wurden bisher als #Fossilien aus den 47 Mio Jahre alten Ölschiefern geborgen. 🪲🐍🦇 Im Eozän war die Artenvielfalt in Messel größer als heute in Mitteleuropa – ein tropischer Regenwald war Messel aber nicht.
