Since the paperwork is signed / finalized, I can announce my crime novel DANGEROUS BOYS has been optioned for film. I’ve had others optioned in the past that didn’t come to fruition, but this one has a great shot at actually getting made. Stay tuned!

We haven’t been able to clean up everything after the storm yet but Nemo decided to climb up on the deck box and have a sniff of the hummingbird feeder when no one was looking. “Are you looking? You’re not looking. Sniff sniff. Oh, you are looking. What am I doing? Wait. How did I get up here?”

My wife is so subtle that I sometimes don’t know precisely what she means. But after years of being together, I’ve learned to decipher these things. For example, this sign over the toilet, indicates (far as I can tell) that she’d appreciate it if I closed the toilet lid when it’s not in use.
