Finally starting to make some real progress melting the snowpack in my backyard here in Fitchburg, MA after last night's 1.41" rain. It's now 59 continuous days (and counting) with a min of at least 2" snowpack, going all the way back to Jan 10th! #thinkspring @wx1box.bsky.social

Finally starting to make some real progress melting the snowpack in my backyard here in Fitchburg, MA after last night's 1.41" rain. It's now 59 continuous days (and counting) with a min of at least 2" snowpack, going all the way back to Jan 10th! #thinkspring @wx1box.bsky.social
1.5" overnight/early AM snow here in Fitchburg, MA, bringing the ttl snowpack in my backyard right back up to 15" after "some" melting the past few days. #MAwx @wx1box.bsky.social

Unfortunately BS doesn't allow for all of the 13 photos I took from 13 different & untouched spots in my backyard, but regardless of warmer temps the last few days, avg snowpack is still 15" here in Fitchburg, MA. #MAwx @wx1box.bsky.social

As a Patriots fan I didn't like that I had to root for one of these teams, but the Iggles were the lesser of the two evils by far. Mahomes has got a LONG way to go if he's ever to dethrone the one true GOAT! I'm gonna sleep good tonight!

A few changes to projected snowfall totals for some in the S New England region (no changes here in Fitchburg, MA). As for the Winter Storm "Warning" vs "Watch" areas, the Winter Storm Warning WILL be expanded East to include much or most of Mass as early as later on this evening or tonight.
