I knew I was in a funk, but after watching this, I'm really in a deep, depressive state. I felt nothing at first, just another trailer...then the SECOND he whistled, the instant, I started sobbing, even before the reveal, and still am 10 minutes later.
The washed out frozen background. The semi-desaturated colors. The blood.
Then the whistle and hope arrives, happy and brightly colored.

I knew I was in a funk, but after watching this, I'm really in a deep, depressive state. I felt nothing at first, just another trailer...then the SECOND he whistled, the instant, I started sobbing, even before the reveal, and still am 10 minutes later.
Sad to see a former friend struggling, but damn, karma does come for us hard sometimes.

Nostalgia is a funny thing. I watched Batman Returns yesterday. Used to love it, there are certain elements that are great, but damn it does not hold up.
Today I'm watching Terminator: Salvation...nothing beats that T-800 design. It's just perfect. IMHO of course.

So, I had only ever seen Tokyo Drift 3 years ago because my Lady watched it, but had never seen any of the other F&F movies until Sunday, when we watched the first two...they were certainly something. Do they get better? Probably going to watch all of them.
