If you listen to her WH press conference she explains in detail the only function of the dept. of education. They are simply a pass through for funding to the states. Thats it. So giving the states total control puts the money into their hands faster. Does not cut anything!

No one was ever going to alter those subsidies. They were designed to expire. Now everyone knows how expensive Obama care really is and now we need something completely new. I suggest expanding them for 1 yr while both sides figure out a new approach to REAL affordable health care.

Well with the Affordable care act we got a small look at what government run health care looks like. EXPENSIVE! And it needs to be supplemented by taxpayers to try and keep us from nobody having coverage. I hope they can fix it. Or design a plan from scratch that they are not in total control of.
