I’m retired hobby amateur artist. I play around with acrylics, sometimes oils, watercolour pencils, pencil and paper. I like seeing other amateurs’ work. I do not sell.
Here’s my pencil sketch portrait of Arthur Lowe as Captain Mainwaring in Dad’s Army. I hope you like him.

NFS - no NFT. my version of a Stanhope Forbes painting ’Newlyn Street Scene’ 1884. Not the only Newlyn painting he did. Newlyn is a fishing village near Penzance in Cornwall, England. My version is approximately A3 size in acrylic. You can google his wonderful paintings to see the real thing 😁

Here’s another A5 pencil portrait sketch - this one’s Alan Turing, the Second World War code breaker. Is he recognisable? Any suggestions for improvement?

Here’s my response to he United By Art group Hills and Mountain February challenge. A4 size Acrylics on Acrylic pad. Thanks to the United By Art group for the challenge. I normally spend ages ponderously trying to copy details but decided on an impressionistic fast and loose effort. Any comments?
