As the US Democrats snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and resist those in the party who aren't dull, conservative and compliant, it's time for a major purge of its stale leadership that has forgotten the point of political parties - win elections and improve the lives of their constituents.

While of course political parties exist to win elections, the Nationals return to their place of climate denying insanity reminds us all that they don't understand that their job is more than just winning over a few fringe redneck voters, but involves improving the lives of all Australians.

The Libs are in real trouble when MPs such as Jane Hume are described as moderate.

In my opinion, Wetern Australian MP Andrew Hastie is proving himself to be an unpleasant piece of work.

Apart from leaking to the SMH and the Age like a rusty colander, this would have to be the most tiresome little man in the Australian public service
Hyperbolic, publicity mad, sinophobic, constantly beating his own drum when absolutely nobody has asked - don't ever get between him and a headline

Lazy Australian journalists attempting to create a story, regardless of the damage it might do to the country, need to back off the Ambassador Rudd comments from years ago, unless its to point out how accurate they were.

The Australian and US governments have agreed to pumping billions of dollars into rare earth minerals production in Australia to supply American markets. The right wing media nutters must be privately apopletic about the 'socialism gone mad' aspect of this deal.

I'm surprised that current Opposition Leader Susssan Ley, hasn't taken credit for PM Albanese's success in managing Cankle's more extreme madness, because of her silly letter of demand she sent to him before he met Orangina.

For those in Australian Labor criticising PM Albanese's exquisite management of the the unstable US President Trump, as a capitulation, should reflect on the words of former PM Gough Whitlam, when dealing with those who would only accept policy purity: ''certainly the impotent are pure''.

Despite a few strategic resignations at Optus, the problems with its governance and corporate culture runs far deeper when they can't see that employing a former politician found to be serously corrupt into senior management to be an issue.

The mainstream media needs to get over their faux nonsense about Australian Ambassador to the US, Kevin Rudd. He's fine. No-one cares about Cankle's silly crankiness about Rudd's prior accurate comments about him.

Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, should be feeling prerty pleased with his public interactions with the US President. Australian Ambassador to the US, Kevin Rudd, must be chuffed that he joins the hordes of people Cankles doesn't know but dislikes anyway.
