Flea markets mostly, bits of art, music. Oh and books. I like books.

Planet of the Apes set, California, 1967 by Dennis Stock. When eating in the canteen the extras subconsciously segregated themselves, with the orangutans, chimpanzees and gorillas all sitting in groups and not mixing. Like a mirror of society.

Ah... nostalgie... V. glad the first band I ever played in was called The Losers.

It only seems right to get the updated edition of, A-Side Are Your Dreams At Night 1985 Sizes To Big, the brilliant, Spacemen 3 based fanzine-esque mini book, by @grahamholliday.bsky.social
from Jumbo Records. ✨

Someone on here (forget who, sorry) recommended this Beryl Bainbridge documentary a while back.

I finally got around to watching it last night and it was an absolute delight.

Swedish Artist & Mystic whose paintings are among the first abstract works in Western Art. They predate compositions by Kandinsky, Malevich & Mondrian. She belonged to 'The 5', a circle inspired by Theosophy, sharing a belief in trying to contact 'High Masters' - often by séances.

Good music to work to, although it does make me feel like a need a nap now and then.

Just arrived, and Claire Rousay, a big fave, on the cover.

That’s the bus ride to and from the office sorted.

Ouch... I can remember my family's first three fixed line numbers from the 70s/80s, first car number plate, and my NI number.

As for my current mobile number?? No idea... 07... something.
If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.

Was reminded of a 1982 LP by The Damned at the weekend. It was notable only in that it came smelling of strawberries.

Good to see that at least one copy still smells.

"Comments: Includes insert which still smells slightly of strawberries!"
