The responsible right to roam in England is long overdue. Those who doubt our ability to roam responsibly should perhaps weigh this against the ecological vandalism committed by some landowners?

What a load of absolute tosh! For all but the winter months a pair of breathable trail runners will save hikers a lot of blisters, aching knees and hips and mean far fewer ‘rolled ankles’. If feet get wet, change socks!

Doggo and I enjoyed 10 miles or so around three North Yorkshire reservoirs from Bland Hill today.

Saw Curlews, Lapwings, Oyster Catchers, Red Kites, a Song Thrush and lots of new Lambs!
