Emily's story contrasts starkly with the public perception of pigs, a perception that says much more about the projection of human characteristics we are uncomfortable with than the sensitive, beautiful animals who take the brunt of our inability to deal with our own inadequacies.

Our current campaign is appropriately themed to coincide with the COP30 talks in Brazil and the National Climate Demonstration. We are delighted to see people highlighting the link between animal agriculture and climate chaos at the demonstration.

Antibiotic resistance is just one of the many reasons why we should not use other animals as resources and illustrates how animal rights is also a human rights issue.

Beef, pork, chicken: the world loves cheap meat. If people knew what really goes in it, that love affair would be over | Devi Sridhar
Antibiotic use in farming is now rampant. How meat is produced in China may mean the drugs you need here won’t work, says Prof Devi Sridhar, chair of global public health at the University of Edinburg...

Angel was rescued in 2019 when she and nine of her comrades came to within a hair's breadth of losing their lives at an Irish slaughterhouse. Angel is the inspiration for our #WorldVeganMonth2025 campaign which is running throughout Ireland.

We all know what it's like to want a peaceful break. Marcus finally managed to capture this priceless moment when Bonnie takes her lunch into her barn to eat in privacy. She's been doing this for years, meal after meal. Clyde remains oblivious to her as long as he has his own lunch.

Very few animals get old like Banbh at @thevegansanctuary.bsky.social. Most are brutally killed when they are a few months old for something we could very easily do without. Be vegan.
Banbh has been very unwell recently so we were delighted to see her going on a little journey in her paddock after lunch recently. She is one of our older, special needs residents. As Eden ages, so do the animals who live here and, sadly, end of life care becomes the norm.

Our ads are in very busy areas of London where members of the public are being exposed to the message that other animals have lives that matter to them, lives that we take when we make non-vegan choices.
