Writer of stories and poetry. I am hard of hearing.
I'm getting sick of all the jokes, everyone. Christ. Show some empathy. Charlie Kirk and Joseph Goebbels were both good family men.

My students seemed to be on board with/amused by my A.I. policy. Hopefully won't have to deal with any incidents this semester.

Busy day, but it’s still #FridayReads time! Let’s boost all signals. Repost this and let us know what to repost for you. I’m sharing the perfect summer read: a hurricane, the ocean, things from beyond the reef, magic, friends, and maybe a bit of violence.

I have a piece published this morning.
"you're a fungus expanding your fibrous tendrils across dead skin and decaying organs; sing in the language of hunger, the words an ancestral memory buried in the genetic code..."

So I’ve been using @LibreOffice for a year now, and I’m not a fan. Is there something better?

Good lord just what the hell is up today. A potential ban on any regulation for AI for the next 10 years? This includes good bills like AB 412 of legislation protecting folks from Deepfakes! Wtf?! Call your congressmen and women asap to tell them to take this down!

So I read a story tonight at an event organized and facilitated by Chuck Palahniuk. At the end of the night, he came up, shook my hand, told me he liked my story…and gave me some valuable feedback.

Im fucking stunned. And glowing. Fuck.

I’m reading one of my horror stories tonight. The first time I read this thing in front of an audience. So it will be interesting.

Your first draft, don’t try to make it perfect, just let it be your thoughts, your ideas for the story. The rest will come with revision.
if u see this, quote-post with your tips for writers that no one gives anymore because they seem obvious (even though they're not)
