Neve Gordon is an Israeli professor and fellow of the British Academy of Social Sciences. He is a professor of international law and human rights at Queen Mary University of London and writes on issues relating to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and human rights. He used to teach at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Almost 20K patients in need need of lifesaving treatment, and yet: Gov to High Court: We will not allow seriously ill patients to be evacuated from Gaza to E. Jerusalem and the WB. This is necropolitics: "letting die" through neglect, systemic violence, and the creations of deathscapes.

Antisemitism is alive and well in the UK but the oldest surviving Jewish newspaper seems set on using antisemitism not so much to fight racism, but to defend a racist regime and cover up horrific violations. By abusing the term, the JC is harming the Jews it claims to represent - myself included.

During the Vietnam War students across the US protested against the war, demanding to stop it. In Israel students have decided to strike, demanding that the state conscript the religious Jews into the military, so that they can share the burden of genocide.

As the STARVATION continues, the IDF has been pummelling Beit Hanoun with F-16 jets and bulldozers supported by tanks and infantry. IDF spokesperson now boasts that it managed to achieve its military objective: a handful of rusty rifles found in a tunnel.

In El Salvador it is immigrants flown in from the US and in Israel it is Palestinians, often kidnapped from their homes. These prisoners are humiliated, tortured and suffer from medical neglect. The goal is to deny them basic human dignity.
