Yosemite Toad (Anaxyrus canorus) is a federally threatened species and potentially will be added to the Endangered Species List. They continue to face many threats such as habitat degradation, invasive species, and droughts.

The IUCN Red List assesses the Amargosa Toad (Anaxyrus nelsoni) as Critically Endangered, however, the United States doesn't recognize the toad as Endangered yet. They need to hurry up to help protect the species.

The Frog 🐸 of the Week is the Mindanao Fanged Frog (Limnonectes magnus) from the Philippines. The frog doesn't have true fangs / teeth but bony projects that come out of the bottom jaw that is used to hold in prey.
