Super psyched to be going to the Twice concert in a few weeks! I’m finally feeling confident enough in my knowledge of the music and the members that I won’t feel like a fake fan. Hopefully my candybong arrives in time!

OMG! Mark Sonnenblick (cowriter with EJAE of most of the KPDH songs!) is going to be on #JoCoCruise! My hyperfixations are forming Voltron! Really need to get my Mira cosplay in top shape now! Got my lightstick and Ramyeon props. Still need to order the boots and tailor the costume to fit properly.

A friend and I are going to see Twice when they come to DC in a couple months! Now, to figure out what to wear! What are the kids wearing these days? #BabysFirstKPopConcert
30 days of Korean on duolingo and I am feeling pretty good about my progress. I can mostly read hangeul phonetically, but there are a few rules of character placement that haven't quite slid into place yet. The vocab that I have thus far experienced is a good mix of usefulness.

Korean studies are going well. That green owl really knows its gamification techniques. 15 days is not long, but I am starting to hear words in kpop lyrics that I know now. Some of the way it is progressing is annoying…like it has taught me 3 random seeming numbers (5, 19, and 30)…it hurts my brain.

Recently got pretty into KPop and have latched onto Le Sserafim. Pretty quickly determined which of them I biased (Sakura), but the longer I go the more the other gals grow on me. I had a similar experience with B*Witched back in the 90’s, bouncing between all 4 of them as my favorite. #FEARNOT
Not enjoying, though muddling through, being forced to do ranked pvp battles in Pokemon Legends Z-A in order to get the mega stone for Greninja...one of my least favorite parts of the game...but I want that stone.

Am enjoying Pokemon Legends Z-A! It is still early days but so far so good! AZ and his Floette are great to see again, and Kalos is by far my favorite region!

Am enjoying Pokemon Legends Z-A! It is still early days but so far so good! AZ and his Floette are great to see again, and Kalos is by far my favorite region!
Am contemplating starting up a west marches style sandbox D&D 5e campaign. Only have the barest of initial ideas at the moment but I suspect I can rope in a dozen friends pretty easily and even more with a small amount of effort. So many logistics and adventure seeds to develop!

Fastball opened, they played all two of the songs I knew (The Way and Outta My Head)! Sugar Ray is up next, should be a bit more known material. BNL probably in an hour or so depending on how long the stage resets take.

Not having gotten to play DnD as a player in so very long, I find myself in desire of custom art of my main character. I have a heroforge mini mock up, but it just isn't sparking joy. I have never commissioned custom character art, especially in the modern day of ai minefields. Where are artists at?

Gunpla is so much fun! I had forgotten how satisfying the assembly process is! Picked up Epyon from Gundam Wing a little while ago as a birthday treat for myself. Only 2 stages in and it is already a great experience!

Tried New Zealand style ice cream today and it was neat. Not ultimately a fan of the hokey pokey topping but the fruit blended ice cream was very tasty. Taken separately the hokey pokey was neat, just s bad combo with the berry flavor I selected. Went to Keyz in Nags Head NC (near Kitty Hawk).

Just finished playing a Star Wars RPG oneshot. It was in the classic WEG d6 system that was the first ever ttrpg I ever played back before the turn of the century.

Just recently got to level 5 in dnd 5e(24). I am playing a polearm focused fighter in a party with 5 casters. Luckily we were able to parlay the rare heirloom bow that nobody in the party was really interested in into a +2 glaive for my “Power Word: Hit Them With A Sharp Stick” character.
