Of course, that to assess the real need of a feature you need to be able to evaluate the actual value of it, which necessarily needs a data-driven and product discovery culture and practice

I don't think "exponential complexity growth when adding features" is discussed enough in product development (at least in my view space). Both team and stakeholders need to understand that there's (also) a future cost with each feature added, that will affect agility, speed and ease of maintenance

I do worry that, at exact same moment we're seeing weekly AI breakthroughs -promising to disrupt everything we know -followed closely by advances in robotics, many countries seem to be headed towards right-wing govs, which will (very likely) not care for individuals affected by this dramatic change

In the past, (to predict protein's structure) the 1st step would be to produce a vast amount of protein. You’d pray for the protein to assemble into a crystal lattice, and then fire X-rays at it ..., and it could take years. Now, AlphaFold can do it in mins...
